About this tea
Kashmir & Kangra Royal Saffron Kahwa brings estate green tea together with the saffron, cardamom and crushed almond described in the house blend. Its identity is a meeting of tea and aromatic ingredients rather than a single unblended leaf. The tasting notes point to cardamom, saffron and sweet almond, inviting a comparison between the aroma rising from the cup and the flavour of the infusion itself. Because the blend includes green tea, it should not be assumed to be caffeine-free. It also contains almond; anyone avoiding nuts should take that ingredient into account before choosing this tea.
For preparation, the current product guide recommends water at 85°C / 185°F. The listed infusion time is 3 mins. Use a roomy infuser or teapot and separate the liquid from the leaf or botanicals when the infusion is ready. Begin with a measured amount and the water quantity suggested on your pack. Use fresh drinking water and a clean vessel. If you would like a lighter or stronger cup next time, change one variable at a time and make a note of the result. This makes your preferred preparation easier to repeat without relying on guesswork.
Taste the kahwa without sweetening it first, then decide whether you prefer any additions. Small servings can be especially useful when sharing an aromatic blend, allowing each person to notice different parts of its profile. Plain biscuits or a gently flavoured snack are possible companions, but the blend can also be enjoyed on its own. Keep preparation simple and give the ingredients space to infuse rather than packing them tightly into a small filter. Its appeal is an aromatic change from an unblended tea, with an approachable brewing ritual that can be repeated and adjusted to taste.
Keep the unopened or resealed pack away from direct sunlight, heat, moisture and strong kitchen aromas. Close it carefully after each use and use a dry utensil when measuring. Check the current pack for ingredient, allergen and preparation information before serving it to someone else. The tasting notes are sensory guidance, not a guarantee of an identical result with every water source or brewing method.
